       ......at the Fan fiefdom. Even Ricky's two lovebirds noticed something was wrong and refused to incubate their clutch of eggs. They edged further and further away from the hatchery until Ricky found them spread-eagled against the sides of their cage, chirping invectives in Ricky's direction.

       The eggs were ripe! Poor Ricky, with his dreams of grandfatherhood flushed down the toilet along with the eggs, flung open his windows for a change of air and with quivering lips, chirped words of consolation and sympathy to the bereaved potential parents.

       But not to worry! After the rancid eggs had been removed, the birds again performed and now two more eggs have appeared in the nest! As Ricky celebrated in birdsong with his two lovebirds, he heaved a sigh of relief that his embarkation into grandfatherhood-dom might still be just around the corner!
